COUPLINGS TYPE MKS 2
MKS (special compensating coupling) is a common industrial coupling for units with a small axial distance between the ends of the connected shafts, insufficient to accommodate the spacers of standard couplings such as MK, MKO or MUP. It can be used in units, where previously MUVP type couplings or other couplings with elastomer liners were used.
The design feature of the MKS coupling is, that the spacer due to the increased internal diameter covers the hubs of one or both coupling halves, and provides, in this way, mutual axial removal of elastic elements packages, sufficient for effective compensating the radial displacements of the shafts.
The coupling is built on the constructive base of the MK type coupling and inherits all its properties, except for the "cartridge" type.
- Complies with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union TRTS 012/2011 "Equipment safety for using in explosive atmospheres"
