Couplings type MK 2
MK (compensating coupling) - has an optimal set of technical, operational and economic indicators. It is recommended for using in the energy, oil and petrochemical industries. Allows using in hazardous and explosive fire-hazardous areas of class B-1a and B-1g according to the "Rules for the Installation of Electrical Installations", in which the formation of an explosive mixture of category IIA-T3 according to GOST 12.1.01-78.
MK Couplings have a "cartridge" (in other terms, "Cartridge") design, which provides easy installation and disassembly of the removable part and excludes contact of personnel directly with the package of elastic elements. Such a solution also makes it possible to eliminate the most common cause of sudden coupling failures - which is a personnel error in tightening tight fittings. The coupling provides the torque transmission after the emergency destruction of the elastic element as well as the protection from the spacer “overhang” and sparking due to the using of special bronze inserts. These design features comply with the requirements of the international standard API 671 / ISO 10441 (MSECM type).
- Complies with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union TRTS 012/2011 "Equipment safety for using in explosive atmospheres"
